Replacing the VertiTex II rail/zip box 112
• Extend the awning slightly
• Disconnect the power
• Loosen the drop profile from the guide profiles
• Remove the zip insertion aid
• Remove the drop profile end caps
• Pull the dowels and round cord edges out of the old
fabric sideways
• Separate the drop profile from the fabric
• Remove the side caps
• Loosen/remove the headplate screws
semble the headplates!
• Remove the roller rube and fabric completely from the

housing .
• Roll up the fabric from the roller tube
tube is visible!
• Then pull the stuck on fabric off the roller tube
• Use a clean surface (e.g. the old fabric)!
• Welt the new fabric into the roller tube
or press the fabric into the groove using a blunt, flat aid
(e.g. a plastic card)
Note: The magnetic claw beading's hook and beaded
profile with round cord edges must be facing down-

wards !
• Align the roller tube in the centre
Reassemble in reverse order (
• Insert the round cord edges (from the old fabric) into
the new fabric.
• Insert the new fabric with cord edge into the beaded
profile and mount it in the reverse order it was disas-
sembled.
Insert the dowels as deep as they will go and screw a
screw with washer into them.
• Insert the fabric and install the ZIP insertion aid, push
the fabric back into the fabric guide profile. Unscrew
the large countersunk hex head screw slightly and then
retighten it again.
• Insert the fabric with roller tube and drive into the
box!
• Switch on the power
