• Do not use this appliance other than for its intended use.
• Use an electrical socket with a good ground connection.
• For interior household use only. Do not use this appliance outdoors.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sen-
sory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
upervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Clean the appliance with warm soapy water using a damp cloth, then dry it. Drip pan and base are
dishwasher safe. Grill pan & cord are not dishwasher safe and cannot be immersed water at anytime.

• When using for the fi rst time, remove all packaging materials and unwind the power cord from the
appliance.
• During the fi rst use, this appliance may give off a slight odor. This is due to the newness of the
product.
• Place the base on a heat-resistant counter top in a well ventilated area.
• Place the drip pan on the bottom of the base.
• Add just enough water to the drip pan, to the top of the ridges in the bottom of pan. Avoid adding
too much water.
• Place the electric grill plate on top of the base and make sure the drip pan and grill plate are sitting
properly on the base.
• Connect detachable thermostat control to the receptacle on the side of the grill.
• Coat the grill surface with cooking spray.
• Adjust the detachable thermostat control to a desired temperature.
• Allow the unit to preheat. The light will come on indicating the power is on. The light will go off
when the grill has reached the selected temperature.
• Place food directly on the grill. Grill food to desired doneness.
ATTENTION
Hot oil and liquid may splash as grease or juice hit the drip pan. Please be cautious while
grilling and do not move the appliance when in use.
