Using your K-45

Position the condensation cup in the allocated slot at the back of
the unit.
If you would like to delay the start of cooking, press the "Timer"
button, and then press the + / - arrows to select how long you would
like before the cooking starts, between 30 minutes and 24 hours.
Press either "Function" to cycle through the four cooking programs
or you can select "soup" or "rice". Which ever pre-set you choose,
you can also adjust the time manually be pressing the + / - arrows.

Tip – You can press and hold down the + / - arrows.
After five seconds the first two zeros will begin to circle on the
display, this shows that cooking has commenced. You can cancel
any time by pressing the "Keep Warm / Cancel" button.
If the pressure release valve was set to "seal", the float valve will
move to the locked position after several minutes, this means the
unit is pressurising and the lid will be locked in place. The program
timer will start once the pressure has reached operating level. At
any time, you can move the pressure release valve to "vent". Once
the cooking program has finished (and the float valve has closed),
the lid will be unlocked and can be opened.
Once the program has finished, the unit will change to keep warm
mode for up to two hours. You must vent the pressure cooker using
the pressure release valve prior to removing the cooker lid. When
removing the cooker lid, use heat protection and lift and tilt it away
from you.
