2.4 Heating-up procedure

Before lighting the stove, ensure that the primary air throttle (J) in
the front of the door is fully open. Crumple up some paper and place
it in the stove. Then put small pieces of wood on the paper. When the
wood has caught fire, feed in the normal logs as described in chapter
2.1.
Bullerjan hot air stoves are coated with a high-quality heat-resistant
®
paint. During the initial heating-up procedure of the hot air stoves,
some vapour might develop causing an annoyance due to the
smell, as the paint will burn in. Therefore, open the doors and the
windows immediately upon the initial heating-up procedure.
You will need to confirm that the glass in the door floats in its frame.
If it cannot be moved, it is too tight and will break when the stove
is heated.
