7 Getting started
7.1 Starting charging
Stop the vehicle engine and set the gear lever to park.
Remove the protective cap (2) from the Type 2
connector (1).
Insert the mains plug (7) into a suitable mains
socket.
Tap the button (4) on the charging controller to set the charging current. To change the
charging current, tap the button repeatedly.
We recommend a maximum charging power of 2.3 kW (230 V, 10 A) without prior
inspection of the mains socket by a qualified electrician.

To access timer mode, press the button (4) for at least 5 seconds. Tap the button repeatedly
to set the delay time in 2 hour steps. The timer will then start counting down. Charging will
commence when the preset time has elapsed.
To exit timer mode, press the button (4) for at least 5 seconds. The display will return to the
charging current setting and the timer will be disabled.

Plug the Type 2 connector (1) into the socket on the electric vehicle.
Ensure that the connector is fully inserted and engaged.
Lock your electric vehicle. The charging station (EVSE) will charge the vehicle.
May vary depending on your vehicle.
7.2 Stopping charging
Do not unplug the mains plug from the socket while the vehicle is charging.
Unplug the Type 2 connector (1) from the vehicle.
Disconnect the mains plug (7) from the mains socket.
Place the protective caps on the connector and roll up the cable without bending it.
Pack the charging cable and store it in a suitable location.
