Pay attention to marking of the direction of rotation! The rotation direction mark on
the saw blade must match the direction mark on the blade cover!

Use protective gloves during this step and while handling the cutting blade. Risk of
cutting!
STEP 6
EXTERNAL SAW BLADE COVER

• Use four cross screws (M5x10) with flat and lock washers to install the external cover of
the saw blade.
STEP 7
RETURN SPRING AND SAFETY CHAIN
• Attach one end of the return spring guide tube to the right foot of the cradle from inside with

a screw (M8x55). Install three washers between all contact surfaces. Secure with a lock nut (Fig. D).
• Remove the locking pin and remove the washer from the other end of the return spring
guide tube. Lift the cradle and pass the guide tube through the square hole on the foot of
the frame with the engine, put the washer on the tube and secure with the pin.
• Install the safety chain (which is mounted on the leg of the frame with the engine) on
the other side of the cradle leg using a screw (M6X25), washers (Ø6) and locking nut (M6).
• Attach the two handles to the cradle with four M5x8 screws. Push the cradle several times.

It must have free travel and automatically return to its original position. If the travel is not
free, loosen the retaining screws.

saw blade cover to connect the cradle cover of saw blade 2
