• Notice! If the maximum weight of
10 kg is exceeded, the error message
"EEEE" will appear on the display.
Starting up
• Place the kitchen scale on a smooth,
level surface.
• Press the OFF/TARE button to switch
the appliance on.
• All segments are momentarily blended
on the display.
• Wait until the kitchen scale is on "0".
• Select your chosen unit of measure-
ment with the UNIT button.
• Place the ingredient or an empty bowl
in the middle of the weighing surface.
• You can now read the measured value.
Added weight function (TARE)
• Briefly press the TARE button to weigh
out another ingredient.
• Notice! The TARE symbol only appears
at a weight of 100 g or above.
• The kitchen scale is now set back to "0".
• Place a new ingredient on the scale.
• The weight of the last ingredient added
will now be showing.
• Once you have weighed all the ingre-
dients with the TARE function and have
taken it all off including the weighing
bowl, the total weight is displayed with
a minus sign.
