Also remove the batteries if you have not used the kitchen scale
for a long period of time. If you do not, the batteries may leak and
cause damage.

rubbish. Put used and empty batteries in designated collection

• Insert the batteries (2 x AAA). The bat-
tery compartment is located on the
Volt
bottom of the kitchen scale.
• Caution! Make sure that the batteries

are inserted correctly, respecting the
polarities (+ and -).
• Your kitchen scale is now ready to use.
• Take the batteries out if they have run
out or if you do not wish to use the sca-
le for a long time. Replace the batteries
when the "Lo" display appears.
• If the installation surface of your kit-
chen scale is not even or wobbles, the
symbol "unSt" will appear.
• This kitchen scale can weight using the
units of measurement g, ml, lb:oz and
oz . The indication in ml refers to liquids
with a density of 1 g/cm³ (e.g. water).
• Notice! The appliance starts up in the
last chosen unit of measurement.
• First press the OFF/TARE button and
then the UNIT button to change the
unit of measurement.
• If the kitchen scale is not used after
being switched on, it turns off auto-
matically after approx. 60 s. To switch
it off manually, press the OFF/TARE
button for 2 s.
• The kitchen scale is designed for weig-
hing food with a minimum weight of
5 g and a maximum weight of 10 kg
exclusively.
