1 Intended use
Additional profibus board
The assessory set works with acutators type EA25, EA45, EA120 and EA250,
as well as for 24AV/DC and 100-230V AV version. The implementation into a
profibus network will be realized with additional boards with two M12 plugs.
Plug boards into the housing of the actuator in the provided slots.

2 Assembly
Disconnect actuator from the supply voltage.
Remove housing cover of the electric actuator (loosen the 4 screws,
open cover).
Remove the right and middle connection cover resp. feedback
connection.
Take profibus board out of the packaging and check for damages.
CAUTION!
Do not touch the board itself. Electrostatic discharge can damage the
components.
Place board with plug contacts at the front in the actuator
CAUTION!
Ensure that the board sits in the lateral guides and snaps.
Slide connection elements from outside into the board, the plug with
downwards indexing and the countersunk screw holes as arranged on
the picture

Fix the connection element (connection right and middle) with the four

existing screws.
Fix the protective earth of profibus board additionally with the protective
earth of the standard actuator.

Insert the adaptor board into the guide rail on the backside onto the red
plug.
CAUTION!
Ensure that the board sits in the lateral guides and snaps.
Use the ribbon cable to connect the two circuit boards.
2 Function Profibus installation check
Connect actuator with power and give ON-OFF signal via Profibus.
