CLEANING AND STORAGE

Please Note!
■
During cleaning make sure that no
liquid gets into the main unit.
■
Do not use any sharp or pointed ob-
jects to remove foreign bodies from
the device. They could damage the
device.
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleaning agents to clean the device.
They may damage the surfaces.
• Empty the fresh water tank (3) and
dirty water tank (9) after every use
(see the "Inserting and Detaching
Water Tanks" chapter and "Use"
chapter – "After Use").
• Rinse out both tanks thoroughly with
clear, warm water and allow them to
dry open in the air.
• As required, wipe down the main
unit (4) with a damp cloth. Then dry
with a cloth.
• Store the device and all accessories
in a cool, dry place which is protected
from direct sunlight and is out of the
reach of children and animals.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the device does not work properly,
check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself. If the problem cannot
be solved with the steps below, contact
the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair an elec-
trical device yourself!
The device only works slowly or does
not work at all.
The battery is empty.

Charge up the battery.

The battery is not charging. The con-
trol lamp (5) does not light up when
the device is connected to the mains
power.
The mains adapter is not inserted in the
plug socket correctly or the barrel con-
nector is not inserted in the connecting
socket (5) correctly.

Correct the fit.
The plug socket is defective.
►
Try another plug socket.
There is no mains voltage.
►
Check the fuse of the electrical dis-
tributor (fuse box).
No water is emerging.
The fresh water tank (3) is empty.
►
Fill the fresh water tank.
The fresh water tank (3) is not inserted
correctly.
►
Correct the fit.
The dirty water is not properly
sucked up.
The dirty water tank (9) is full.
►
Empty the dirty water tank.
The closure of the dirty water tank (8) is
not closed correctly.
►
Check the closure.
Water escapes from the device.
The closures of the dirty water tank (8)
and fresh water tank (3) are not closed
correctly.
►
Check the closures.
The fresh water tank (3) or dirty water
tank (9) is not inserted correctly.
►
Correct the fit.
The stain is not removed.
The stain is too stubborn or too old.
►
Treat the stain specifically with a
cleaning product.
