Do not use the device in the vicinity of
highly fl ammable materials.

Do not cover the device during oper-
ation. Do not insert anything into the
ventilation openings of the device and
make sure that they do not become
clogged.

manufacturer in order to guarantee
that there is no interference that may
prevent the device from working and
to avoid possible damage.

Protect the device from heat sourc-
es, fl ames, persistent moisture and
impacts.

to the component parts of the device.

Do not place heavy objects on the
component parts of the device.
■
In the event of damage / faults, switch
the device off immediately.
■
Make sure that the device does not
tip over so that no water can run out
of the tanks.
CHARGING UP THE
BATTERY
Please Note!
■
Only connect the mains adapter to a
plug socket that is properly installed
and matches its technical data. The
plug socket must be readily accessible
after connection so that the con-
nection to the mains can quickly be
isolated.
■
Make sure that the connecting cable is
not squashed, bent or laid over sharp
edges and does not come into contact
with hot surfaces.

Pull the mains adapter out of the plug
socket if an error occurs during charg-
ing or before a thunderstorm.
■
When you disconnect the device from
the mains power, always pull on the
mains adapter and never the mains
cable.
■
It is essential that you charge up the
battery fully before you fi rst use the
device in order to achieve the maxi-
mum charging capacity. If the battery
is fully discharged during use, it must
be fully charged up again before it is
next used.
1. Plug the barrel connector of the mains
adapter (6) into the connecting socket
(5) on the main unit (4).
2. Connect the mains adapter to a plug
socket. The control lamp (5) will then
light up green and fl ash while the
device is charging.
3. Allow the battery of the device to
charge for approx. 3 – 3.5 hours. The
control lamp on the On / Off switch is
lit constantly green when the device is
fully charged.
4. First disconnect the mains adapter
from the mains power and then from
the main unit.
5. Once the battery has run empty, the
control lamp on the On / Off switch
fl ashes red and the device goes off.
