EN Use
1. Open the hook and loop straps of the elbow splint.
2. Place the patient's arm in the splint so that the elbow rests comfortably in the pre-defined
flexion angle. Make sure that the MECRON logo is on the side of the upper arm.
3. First close the upper then the lower hook and loop fastener.
4. Now you can close the other two hook and loop fasteners.
Note
Slightly bending the aluminium rods in the splint enables the flexion angle to be adjusted
to the arm's anatomy. Attach the brace in such a way that it fits snugly on your body. Make sure
that the skin does not become trapped in the region where the hook-and-loop fasteners are. The
latter should not be fastened too tightly to prevent stasis.

Sizes
The elbow splint comes in 6 sizes depending upon
upper arm circumference. Measure the circumfer-
ence 10 cm above the middle of the elbow with
the arm bent 45 – 90 degrees. The splint can be
worn on the left or right.

Cleaning instructions

Hand wash
If the shoe is slightly soiled, you can wipe it with a damp cloth or clean it with a soft brush. To
clean the shell and liner, use lukewarm water (30° is possible) and mild soap or mild detergent if
necessary. Rinse and dry the liner promptly. Do not dry this in a dryer or on a radiator. Let it dry in
the air at room temperature.
Disposal
Dispose of after use. Please dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner.
Dispose of this product after use in accordance with applicable local laws and regulations.
