7.- Turn the speed control (10) clockwise to start the appliance running.
The appliance has two speeds. Choose position one to make the motor spin more slowly and
position two to make the motor spin at high speed.
8.- Turn the speed control counter-clockwise to the PULSE position to make the appliance run at
high speed. In PULSE mode the appliance will stop when the speed control is released.
9.- Cut or grated food or squeezed juice is kept in the pitcher. Turn the speed control to the
0 position to stop the appliance and wait until the motor has come to a complete stop.

Blade (19), mixer/kneader accessory (14) or blender
accessory (13)
Use this accessory for squeezing juice from lemons, limes
or oranges.
a.- Install the blade shaft (20) on the main shaft.
b.- Insert the chopping blade, the mixing/kneading
accessory or the blender accessory onto the blade shaft.
Note that this attachment is not suitable for chopping ice
or grinding coffee.
WARNING:
Be very careful when handling the
blade because it is extremely sharp. Cut protection
gloves should be worn when handling the blades.
c.- Put the food in the pitcher.
WARNING:
Cut food into small pieces before
chopping it.
d.- Put the lid on the pitcher and turn it counter-clockwise
until the lid is locked. Put the pusher into the food feeder.
WARNING:
For your safety, the appliance will not
run if the lid is not properly installed and locked.
Blender pitcher (3)
Use this accessory for making smoothies.
a.- Do not install the main shaft or the pitcher to use this
accessory. Install the blender pitcher directly on the
motor body with the handle towards the front of the
appliance.
b.- Turn the blender pitcher counter-clockwise to lock it in
place.
WARNING:
c.- For your safety, the appliance will not
run if the blender pitcher is not properly installed.
d.- Put the food inside the blender pitcher. Use the
measuring cup (1) if you need to measure anything.
e.- Put the lid on the blender pitcher (2) and turn it
counter-clockwise to lock it in place.
Put the measuring cup on the lid.
