3.3 Use of the appliance brackets

❖ The appliance is equipped with a bracket at the top and bottom respectively (s.
fig. below). These brackets are required if the installation recess is larger than the
appliance (i.e., the appliance does not fit the installation recess exactly and firmly
and can be moved back and forth, for example). Depending on the current
installation situation, it is at the discretion of the installer of the appliance whether
the brackets are required or can be removed.
❖ If the opening of the built-in recess is larger than the appliance, you must fix the
appliance to the built-in furniture using the appliance brackets and the supplied
screws (2 / 3 / 5 / s. fig. below).
1. Take the corresponding 4 screws (5 / ST 4.0*13) from the accessory bag supplied.
2. Screw the top and bottom of the appliance to the built-in furniture using the
prepared screw holes (4) in the appliance brackets (2 / 3 / s. fig. below).
Ensure that the appliance is positioned horizontally in the built-in recess before
you finally screw the appliance brackets firmly to the built-in furniture. The
appliance must not stand at an angle.
