6.3 How to use
Operating elements and advice.

The operating elements control the functions.
Switch/Button
1/0
Thermostat switch

The pilot lights show the operating state.
When the pilot light beside the switch 1/0 is on:

The appliance is on.
When the pilot light next to the thermostat switch is on:

The appliance heats the oil until it achieves the selected temperature.
To fill up
Fill the vessel up to the mark with

oil.

melted fat.
To switch on

Check the fill level.

Refill if necessary.

Turn the switch 1/0 (1).
The pilot light on the switch 1/0 is on.

Set the thermostat switch at the desired temperature.
The appliance is on.
The pilot light is on.
The appliance heats the oil.
Note The heating-up time depends on the type of oil and the surrounding
conditions.
When the appliance reaches the set temperature:

The pilot light is switched off.
To deep-fry

Put dry food into the wire basket.

Set the wire basket to place.
When the food is deep-frozen:

Fill the basket only half.

Set the wire basket slowly to place.
