Operating instructions
Please read through the instructions carefully before commissioning the motion detector! We recommend
keep these operating instructions in a safe place and pass them on to subsequent users if necessary!
1. Intended use
Installation is only possible indoors.
The motion detector detects thermal movements in the detection area of the infra-red sensor to switch
on/off connected electrical consumers (e.g. lights). The motion detector has a built-in timer with which
you can adjusted the switch-on duration.
2. Safety information
• Connection must be carried out by an electrician!
• Only for connection to the fixed electrical installation!
• Never touch live parts!
• Before doing any electrical work, the installation to be worked on must be
de-energised!
• Safe operation is no longer possible if the motion detector has visible damage.
• Make sure that the insulation of the connection lines is not damaged.
3. Where motion detectors should be placed
• Installation may only be carried out on stable surfaces.
4. Areas where the motion detector should not be installed
• Never place the motion detector in locations where there are significant temperature fluctuations,
e.g. near fans, air conditioners
and heaters.
• Do not aim the motion detector towards
objects with highly reflective surfaces,
such as mirrors, etc. Do not aim the
detector at objects that can move in the
wind, such as curtains, tall plants, etc.
• Ensure that the power cable comes from
a circuit with an external 16A circuit
breaker or comes with a suitable safety
fuse for short-circuit protection.
