CLEANING AND STORAGE

Please Note!
■
Make sure that the device is switched
off and the charging socket is sealed
shut before cleaning it!
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleaning agents or cleaning pads to
clean the device. These may damage
the surfaces.

The accessories may lose some
of their colour over time. This is
normal and does not have any
adverse effect on function. How­
ever, if one of the accessories
is damaged or worn, it must be
replaced.
• Clean the housing of the main unit (2)
and the extension rod (13) with a
damp, soft cloth if necessary. Then
dry with a soft cloth.
• Regularly remove hair and fluff from the
brushes (3, 9, 10) and adapters (1, 4)
and clean them with warm water and a
mild cleaning if necessary. Then allow
them to dry completely!
• Remove the textile accessory from the
adapter and then wash it through with
water and mild detergent.
Only reassemble the device once all
of the parts are completely dry.
• Check the device and the charger
cable regularly for any damage.
• Charge up the battery after every use
(see the "Charging Up the Battery"
chapter).
• Store the device and the accessories
in a dry place which is protected from
sunlight and is out of the reach of
children and animals.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the device does not work properly,
check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself. If the problem cannot
be solved with the steps below, contact
the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair an
electrical device yourself!
The device only works slowly or does
not start.
The battery is empty.

Charge up the battery.
The motor performance is too weak.
The attachment does not rotate
correctly.
The battery is too weak.

Charge up the battery.
The attachment is heavily soiled or hairs
have become caught on the mount (14).
►
Clean the attachment and remove
the hairs from the mount.
The dirt is too solid to detach it from the
device.
►
Soak the pieces of dirt or treat them
with special agents.
The charge control lamp (16) does
not light up when the device is
connected to the mains power.
The power supply is not connected to
the plug socket and / or the connecting
socket on the device properly.
►
Correct the fit of the power supply
and the plug connections.
The plug socket is defective.
►
Try another plug socket.
There is no mains voltage.
►
Check the fuse of the electrical dis­
tributor (fuse box).
The battery is fully charged.
►
Disconnect the device from the power
supply. It is ready to operate.
