CHARGING UP THE
BATTERY
Please Note!
Do not charge up on a computer
because the computer might be dam
aged by the high charging current.
To connect the device to the plug
socket, a USB mains adapter (5 V DC
and max. 2 A; not supplied with the
device) is required.
14
Only connect the mains adapter to a
plug socket that is properly installed
and matches its technical data. The
plug socket must be readily acces
sible after connection so that the
connection to the mains can quickly
be isolated.
Only use suitable extension cables
whose technical data is the same as
that of the power supply.
Pull the power supply out of the plug
socket if an error occurs during charg
ing or before a thunderstorm.
It is essential that you charge up the
battery fully before you first use the
device in order to achieve the maxi
mum charging capacity.
L
The charging process takes
approx. 4 hours.
If the device cannot be switched on
or a single bar of the charge control
lamp flashes, the battery is too weak and
needs to be charged.
1. Open the closure of the charging
socket (17) and plug the charger
cable (5) into the charging socket
(Picture C).
2. Connect the other end of the charger
cable to a power source with a USB
interface (preferably via a USB mains
adapter to the plug socket).
The charge control lamp (16) flashes
and the charging process starts.
When the battery is fully charged, all
the bars of the charge control lamp
light up.
3. Disconnect the charger cable from
the power source and then from the
charging socket.
4. Seal the closure again.
