24" rear wheels

The wheelchair is delivered with the standard aluminum push rims. The material
and the distance between the push rim and the wheel can influence on the grip
strength of the wheelchair's user.
One should be careful and not allow the fingers to get between spokes during
driving in narrow passages. To avoid such risk it is recommended to use a spoke
protection.
One should regularly control the pressure in tyres, which ought to be in range of
2 – 2,2 atm depending on the weight of the user.
The wheels on "Dolphin" and "Barracuda" chair can additionally be easily
removed and fitted in by pressing the quick-release button placed in the center
of the wheel (1).
The wheel balance on the "Dolphin" and "Barracuda" can be additionally adjusted by moving the wheel axle. In his
case it is necessary to adjust also the position of the turning wheels.
WARNING! We recommend such adjustment to be done by the qualified staff. An inappropriate adjustment can
cause deterioration of the safety usage of the wheelchair and decrease its durability.
Safety belts
There is possibility to attach the hip safety belts. They are not among the standard equipment.
Push handles
The push handles are height-adjustable
To adjust the height of the push handles must release the lever (1) by turning it
counter-clockwise. Then adjust the handlebar to the desired height (2) and
screw the lever (1) again by turning it clockwise.
WARNING! To ensure a secure push both handles must be set to the same
height.
WARNING! The push handles has to be used only for pushing and steering the
wheelchair. You should NOT use it for lifting or tilting the wheelchair!
Backrest with angle adjustment (only on Barracuda)
To adjust the backrest angle
• Press and hold the red button (1)
• Use the second hand to adjust the backrest to desired angle (2)
• Release button (1) to secure backrest in desired position
• Repeat above steps on the other side of the backrest
WARNING! Always ensure that the angle of both back tubes is adjusted to
the same positions.
How to fold and undfold the wheelchair

Placing one hand on the seat upholstery press one of the tubes,
which support the seat upholstery (in accordance with the
instructions on the drawing). One should be careful and not put
the hand between tubes and the wheelchair frame during
unfolding it.
Tip pedals
The tip pedal on wheelchairs makes it easier for the attendant to
avoid obstacles by tilting the wheelchair backwards (see photo
left). The tip pedal is built into the frame (see photo right).
NOTE! DO NOT tilt the wheelchair with the handles, but use the
tip-pedal!
