2.2 Determining the IP address

Turn on the server. The server connects to the network and receives automatically a
separate IP address. You can also assign a fixed IP address to the server later in your
network.
In order to access the Web Configurator, it is necessary to determine the IP address of the
device. This can be found in the following way:
The Megasat SAT>IP server supports the UPnP technology it has experienced. Users are
able to determine the IP address through a free UPnP tool (e.g. Intel Developer Tools for
UPnP Technologies).
1. Download the appropriate software to the PC and install it.
2. Open the „Device Spy" program from the Start menu.
3. Select „Megasat SAT> IP Server" from the „UPnP Devices" list and read the „Base URL"
(for example, 192.168.2.101:9090)
