Removing Heavy Contamination /
Blockages
If the discharge (in the washing drum)
or the hub (7) is heavily contaminated or
clogged up, clean it as follows:
1. Disconnect the device from the mains
power if necessary.
2. Undo the screw(s) on the hub or dis-
charge using a standard screwdriver
(Picture G).
3. Take the discharge cover and the hub
out of the washing drum (4).
4. Remove any contamination in the
washing drum and on the discharge
cover or the hub.
5. Insert the discharge cover and the
hub back into the washing drum.
Make sure that they fi t correctly.
6. Reinsert the screws and tighten them
so they are hand-tight.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the problem cannot be solved with the
steps below, contact the customer service
department.
Do not attempt to repair an elec-
trical device yourself!
The device cannot be switched on.
The mains plug is not inserted in the plug
socket correctly.

Correct the fit of the mains plug.
The plug socket is defective.
►
Try another plug socket.
There is no mains voltage.
►
Check the fuse of the mains connec-
tion.
The device does not switch off.
The timer (11) is blocked.
►
Make sure that the operating ele-
ments are not blocked.

The laundry does not get clean.
The device is dirty.
►
Clean the device.
The discharge is blocked.
►
Remove the blockage.
Unusual odour
The device is being used for the fi rst
time.
►
A new odour is normal when the
device is used for the first time; it
disappears after a while.
The device has previously been descaled.
►
Allow a rinse cycle to run through
with clear water.
DISPOSAL
Dispose of the packaging material
in an environmentally friendly man-
ner so that it can be recycled.
This device is governed by the
European Directive 2012/19/EU
on waste electrical and electron-
ic equipment (WEEE). Do not
dispose of this device as normal
domestic waste, but rather in an
environmentally friendly manner
via an offi cially approved waste
disposal company.
