To clean the parasol
frame, wipe it with a mild
soapy solution. It is not
recommended to clean
plastic or metal products
with a strong cleaner or an
abrasive material since it
may discolour or damage
the surface.
Repair: The parasol frame
is painted with a powder
coating of plastic paint.
If for some reason the
coating comes off, the
parasol frame is not
protected and this may
result in rust. To repair
the damage, wipe clean
and repaint to restore the
protection.
STORAGE
We recommend that you
close the parasol when
not in use and put a
waterproof cover on it.
Before putting the cover
on, please make sure that
your parasol is completely
dry and clean. During
the off-season, store the
covered parasol in a cool
and dry place indoors.
DISPOSAL
If you wish to dispose of
the parasol, do not throw
it in the trash. Take it to
a recycling centre. There,
recyclable materials and
other materials can be
disposed of safely. Ask
your local IKEA store or
your local authority where
a recycling location is in
your area. Dispose of the
packaging materials in
the provided collection
containers.
