• The heating plates have a non-stick layer, which means that you do not have to
brush any fat on them for normal use. If you want to use fat, use butter or
margarine ( not oil! ), for the best result.
• Pour in the waffle mix.
• Close the lid. It takes about 3–6 minutes to make a waffle (depending on what is in
the mix and the amount of mix you are using).
• Remove the waffle with a spatula made of wood or heat-resistant plastic. Do not use
any sharp utensils – they may damage the surface!
• If you want to make more waffles, close the lid between each one to keep the heat.
• Switch off the waffle iron by pulling the plug out of the socket after use.
CARE AND CLEANING
• Pull the plug out of the socket and let the waffle iron cool down before cleaning.
• Do not let any mix on the waffle iron dry hard. Clean the waffle iron as soon
as possible after use.
• Clean the inside with a damp cloth or a soft dish brush with a mild detergent.
Wipe the outside with a damp cloth.
• Do not use steel wool, a metal brush or other hard objects that might scratch
the non-stick layer.
