• Never immerse the waffle iron, electric cable or plug into
water or any other liquid. Risk of electric shock!
• Pull the plug out of the socket when the waffle iron is not in use.
• Hold the plug when you want to pull it out of the socket – do not
pull on the electric cable.
• Do not use the waffle iron outdoors.
• Apart from the heating-up time, the waffle iron must not be on
when it is empty. It may overheat.
• Connect only to a grounded outlet.
• Keep an eye on the waffle iron when it is switched on.
Pull the plug out of the socket when you are not using
the waffle iron.
• The waffle iron gets very hot when it is on. Avoid the risk of
burns by using the handle and do not touch any parts of
the waffle iron when it is hot.
• Let the waffle iron cool down completely before cleaning
or storing it.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are
older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord
out of reach of children less than 8 years.
• Regularly check the condition of the waffle iron, electric cable
and plug. Do not under any circumstances use the waffle iron
if it is not working correctly, if you have dropped it on the floor
or if it is damaged in any other way. Take the damaged waffle
iron to an authorised workshop to be repaired. Do not carry
out the repairs yourself!
