4 MAINTENANCE
Under normal conditions the printer requires practically no maintenance. The OHAUS
service department is available if servicing is required. Please ask your responsible
OHAUS dealer for details.
• When cleaning the printer, make sure no liquid flows into the printer.
Keep the irritant liquid far away from printer.
•
Remove the power cables and the data cables before cleaning.
•
Please use soft dry cloth to wipe the printer after cleaning.
•
Dry your hands before coming into contact with the AC adaptor.
•
• Keep it in a dry environment, if the printer will not be used for a long time pack it
into the factory packaging.
• To avoid damage to the printer, it is strongly recommended to use ink ribbon and
other consumables from the original supplier.
• Turn off the power supply of printer after usage. Please remove the
adaptor/batteries if it is not going to be used for a long time.
• Always use original consumables. Unqualified consumables will damage the
printer or shorten the life of the printer.
