6. First use
To activate the "ToGrill" app (see below under point 8.
App and Bluetooth), you will need the QR code which
can be found in the battery compartment.
Open the battery compartment on the front of the
thermometer and insert the batteries with the correct
polarity, as indicated on the base of the compartment,
and then re-close. The thermometer is now ready for operation
To switch the thermometer on press the ON/OFF button (pos. 2) for approx. 3s. "On" appears
on the display followed by the temperature reading in °C. To switch the thermometer off,
press the ON/OFF button again for approx. 3s. "OFF" then appears on the display and the
thermometer switches itself off.

8. App and Bluetooth
 Please activate the Bluetooth function on your mobile phone.
 Mobile device requirements: Apple iOS 11.0 and higher, all Android devices from
Android 5.0 and higher.
 Load the "ToGrill" app using this QR code or directly in the AppStore or on Google Play.
 Turn on the Bluetooth thermometer 3 seconds on Power.
Activation code for the subsequent activation of the app:
 Follow the instructions on the app: Press the Power key on the top of the thermometer.
 App and thermometer are now connected.
9. Operation
Activation of the probe:
 Insert the probe connection into one of the six inputs on the thermometer.
 As soon as the thermometer is switched on, the probe is automatically recognised.
 Insert the probe into the desired food to be grilled; the tip of the probe should be in the
middle of the food to determine the exact core temperature. In this way you get the best
possible grilling result.
