If you encounter a problem establishing connection between the
FCIR Remote control panel and FCIR (the heating element) you
may need to assign a new IR transmission channel in your FCIR.
The channel FCIR should be set up for is A5.
CHANGING FCIR IR COMMUNICATION CHANNEL
To ensure proper infrared communication FCIR must operate on the
same IR channel as FCIR Remote controller.
To change the IR channel in FCIR do as follows:
1. M ake sure FCIR controller is connected to mains and FCIR is on. If the
device is switched off please switch it on by pressing ON/OFF button.
Leaving the device ON disconnect its mains power supply.
2. Connect FCIR to the mains again while pressing TIMER BUTTON
key simultaneously. Hold keys for approximately 5 seconds. This will
enable FCIR channel changing mode. FCIR should now display currently
selected channel (i.e channel A0) alternately showing "A" and "0".

5. W ait a few seconds — FCIR will return to its default display — new IR
