Control and maintenance

Weekly
Check each week that all lamps light up when the
mobile dryer is in operation. A damaged lamp can
cause uneven temperature distribution across the
heated area.
Check also that all wires are entirely undamaged. A
damaged wire can result in danger to life!
Monthly
Check the gold reflectors. Damaged or very dirty
gold reflectors can harm the reflector body and/or
the cassette.
Quarterly
At least once per quarter, the air filter should be
replaced. If its outer surface becomes very dirty at an
earlier stage, the filter must be changed immedia-
tely.

Filter replacement

1. Remove the two metal clips at the cassette's
gable ends.
2. Pull the filter straight out.
3. When the new filter is being installed, the
IRT-logotype should face outwards.
4. Press the long edges of the filter into the
cassette's groove.
5. Replace the metal clips.
The filter is a disposable type and, as such,
NOTE!
should not be cleaned with the help of compressed
air as this considerably reduces the filtering capaci-
ty.

8.2 Replacement of IR-lamp
NOTE! Do not touch the gold coated reflector foil
or the new lamp's glass tubing. Retain the protective
paper on the lamp until it has been installed.
NOTE! Horizontal lamps have a rated power of 2
kW and vertical lamps have a rated power of 1 kW.
Never interchange lamps. Check that the new lamp
has the correct marking.
