Never use the device in the rain and do not leave it outside in the rain.

PERSONAL SAFETY:

• Store the device indoors in a dry place, out of the reach of children.
• Always use the device responsibly.
This device should only be used by children aged 8 years and over, as well as by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are
supervised or have been instructed on the use of the device and understand the possible dangers
associated with its use.
• Children must never be allowed to play with the device. Supervise any children who use the
device.
• Only ever use the attachments specified by the manufacturer in these operating instructions. The
use or misuse of other accessories or attachments can carry a risk of injury.
• Apply extra care when cleaning stairs.
• Keep the device and its accessories away from hot surfaces.
• Never block any openings or the air flow on the device. Keep the openings clear of objects,
including dust, lint, clothing, fingers (and all other parts of the body).
• Ensure that you keep hair away from the openings and moving parts.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY:

• Use only Gtech batteries and chargers.
• Never attempt to modify the charger.
• The charger has been developed for a specific voltage. Always check that the mains voltage is
the same as that specified on the rating plate. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery
can cause a fire with another; never use the charger with another device, or attempt to charge
the product with another charger.
• Check the charging cable for signs of damage or wear before use. A damaged or tangled charging
cable increases the risk of fire and of electric shock.
