Plant light

Important safety information

▪ The accessory is only intended for use with the
WMF Ambient Herbs @home Single.
▪ Please note the safety precautions for the WMF
Ambient Herbs @home Single.
▪ Always unplug from the mains supply before you fit
or remove the accessory.
▪ The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable;
when the light source reaches its end of life the
whole luminaire shall be replaced.
▪ The plant light should be operated at SELV only and
connected to an approved LED driver with SELV
output 12V DC.
▪ The output wiring of LED driver (not provided) shall
have minimum nominal conductor cross sectional
0.2mm².
▪ The flexible cable on the plug of this luminaire can-
not be replaced; if the cord is damaged, the lumi-
naire shall be destroyed.

Before use

The WMF Ambient Plant Light may be used only for the intended purpose and
in accordance with this instruction manual. You are therefore advised to read
the manual carefully before use. It contains instructions for using, cleaning and
looking after the Plant Light. We accept no liability for any damage caused by
a failure to follow the instructions. Keep this instruction manual in a safe place
and pass it on to any subsequent user together with the Plant Light. Please also
note the warranty information. The Plant Light is not intended for commercial
use. The safety precautions must be observed during use.

Use
With its special light spectrum, made up of red and blue light components, the
WMF Ambient Plant Light promotes indoor plant growth. Through its height
adjustability of up to 18 cm, it can be set to accommodate plants of different
heights. Additionally, the telescopic arm can be adjusted up or down.
Warning: The telescopic arm must not be rotated.
Assembling the Plant Light onto the WMF
Ambient Herbs @home Single:
WMF Ambient Herbs @home Single is already being used (Case A)
▪ First disconnect the WMF Ambient Herbs @home Single from the mains
power supply.
▪ Remove the half-lids, including the water level display, the inserted plant
pot and the height-adjustable insert from the WMF Ambient Herbs @home
Single.
▪ Carefully lift up the stainless steel cachepot, which still has the power sup-
ply plug connected to it.
▪ Position the lower fixing hook in the corresponding recess below the
Cromargan® logo.
▪ The light housing can now be fixed to the stainless steel casing, by carefully
hooking the upper fixing hook over the upper end of the stainless steel
casing (see picture).

▪ Rotate the stainless steel casing through 180° and insert the plug into the
only free connector available inside the casing that is intended for this
purpose. In order to avoid damaging it, the thin cable can be laid through
the cable bushing, which is directly aligned with the connection.
▪ For further assembly instructions, please refer to the instruction manual
that was supplied with the WMF Ambient Herbs @home Single, under the
section "Inserting a herb/plant pot".
