We hereby declare that when installed in accordance with Stannah Stairlifts Ltd product safety policy
and installation instructions the machinery listed below complies and fulfils all the relevant provisions
of the following directives:

Model 260 stairlift incorporating manual swivelling Saxon chair. Manual and powered swivelling Starla,
Sarum ,Solus & Sofia chairs and powered hinged rail.
Serial No
The machine has been designed and manufactured in accordance with the following harmonised
European standard: Safety Rules for the Construction and Installation of Lifts – Special Lifts for the
transport of persons and goods. BS EN 81-40: 2008
The Technical Documentation has been compiled by Steve Leathley Engineering Director Stannah
Stairlifts
Products tested by BSI Product Services, Maylands Avenue, Hemel Hempstead, Herts, England.
