Operation - general
Always be alert when the fan is in operation. Immediately switch off and
isolate the fan from the electrical supply if anything seems out of the ordinary.
Refer to the troubleshooting section of these instructions if anything seems
out of the ordinary.
Infrequent use
If the fan is used less frequently than once per month, run the fan each month
at least 2 hours at full speed to avoid buildup of moisture in the fan motor and
to keep the bearing lubricant in good condition.
DANGER
If the built-in thermal protection is in series with the power sup-
ply and is activated, the fan motor will automatically re-start
after cooling down.
Risk of injury due to unexpected start.

The fan motor can get hot during operation

Risk of entanglement
Do not wear loose clothing, jewelry or long hair in the vicinity of a
Mobile Fan in operation.

Dust can become airborne and cause irritation
Condensate drain holes
The fan motor has condensate drain holes to allow condensation that may
form inside the motor to leave the motor. After positioning and before use, the
condensate drain hole at the lowest point of the motor must be open, the
other condensate drain holes must be closed.
Spare condensate drain hole plugs are supplied with the fan. Keep all the
condensate drain hole plugs as they must be temporarily reinserted in the
open drain holes during wet cleaning.

Only for when this fan was ordered and supplied without speed control,
switching device and power supply cable:
1. Document the procedure for operation of the fan
2. Inform all users of this procedure

► The fan must be on a level surface.
► The knobs to lock the tilt angle must be properly tightened.
► The control knob must be in the 0 / OFF position.
1. Check the rating plate and verify that this fan is suitable for the available
power supply.
