The thimbles are placed in the thimble stand during drying. See Fig. 3:3.

3.7 Thimble Handler and Tongs for Extraction
Cups
A thimble handler is used to minimize contamination when the thimbles are moved
e.g. when weighing, see Fig. 3:4. For the same reason the tongs are used whenever
the extraction cups are handled manually.

3.8 Solvent Addition Tube

Use this tubing and connectors in combination with a dispenser to minimize operator
exposure to solvent vapours. See Fig. 3:5.
Note: The dispenser is not included.
