Preparing for
installation
Mount this screen only on suitable surfaces. Pay atten-
tion to the product specifi cations and if necessary, hire
a qualifi ed contractor to guarantee the professional as-
sembly of the screen. Prior to fi rst use, please remove
the securing devices, if present, from the casing of the
screen.
Please keep the packaging in a good condition,

in case you wish to return the screen.
Please be careful when moving

the unpacked screen, especially
when passing through doors.
Select a suitable location for

installation and make that
sure that the surface is fl at and clean.
Mark the appropriate di-

mensions on the wall for
the drill holes of your screen.
Installation on wall or
ceiling

There is the possibility to install the screen on the wall
or the ceiling. On both sides of the screen there are
installation holes for either the wall-installation (A) or
hangers for the ceiling installation (B).
Operation
Extending the screen
Pull the handle down gently. When you stop, the
screen will lock at this position.
Retracting the screen
To avoid soiling the
material, and so that
the gathering areas
are not slackened
prematurely, please
draw the screen in
again after use. Pull
the handle down
briefl y and let the
screen roll up slowly in a controlled manner. In this way
you will avoid damaging the gathering mechanism and
the weighting bar.
Maintenance
Your screen is a maintenance-free system. However,
if during use, a problem with the rolling mechanism
arises, please contact our customer services at
Service@eSmart.de.
FAQ
The weight bar does not fi t completely into
the housing
• MIROLO screens are shipped with a sleek and
stylish SlimFit housing. The weighting bar therefore
does not fi t into the housing.
The canvas is emitting an odour
• Please take out the screen completely a few days
before fi rst use, to allow any odours from the
production process to evaporate from the screen
material. Low room temperatures and lack of
ventilation will lengthen this process.
The canvas is wavy
• Unfortunately, a slight rippling of the screen due
to its being rolled up cannot be entirely avoided.
The only screens which are entirely ripple free
are completely tensioned frame-screens, which
unfortunately you cannot roll up after use to save
space. Therefore, rolled screens are an acceptable
compromise for most users.
• However, you can optimize the surface by remo-
ving one of the PVC side panels at the bottom
weighting bar (1), tightening the tension cable (2)
and clamping it down again with the PVC cover.

The weighting bar is not settling precisely in
the retracted position
• Rolling of the screen usually causes the canvas to
unroll differently on both sides. Thus there may be
slight variations on both sides of the fabric, which
results in the weighting bar having a different distan-
ce from the housing on either side. In the course
of its usage life this effect can also change from one
side to the other.
