4.3 SHAPE & SIZE OF BOTH BRACKETS
4.3.1 MOUNTING BRACKET TOP b.1
4.3.1 Inside the rubber-like plastic coated bracket is a steel
4.3.1 band. By bending it powerful but gently, the bracket can
4.3.1 be adjusted to the size of the bell if necessary.
4.3.2 BOTTOM BRACKET a.1
4.3.2 It is made of strong but elastic plastic, as it is particular-
4.3.2 ly suitable for snap connections. It is also covered with
4.3.2 rubber-like plastic. Thickenings on the outside serve to
4.3.2 center the instrument body.
5. THE INSTRUMENT IN THE STAND
5.1 CHECK HEIGHT IN ADVANCE
5.1 Before use, make sure that the upper mounting bracket
5.1 is extended far enough to prevent the instrument from
5.1 touching the floor.
5.2 HANG UP THE INSTRUMENT
5.2.1 Hook the bell close to the edge into the mounting
5.2.1 bracket at the top, so that the instrument cannot slip
5.2.1 down.
5.2.2 Place the instrument on the bottom bracket in
5.2.2 such a way that...
5.2.3 ...the corpus is in contact not only with one but
5.2.3 necessarily with both thickenings.

5.3 NOTE
5.3 Possible hazards due to careless or rushed hooking:
5.3.1 A too large distance between bell and upper bracket
5.3.1 could let the instrument slide.
5.3.2 The contact of the corpus on only one of the two
5.3.2 thickenings of the lower bracket could make the
5.3.2 baritone saxophone rotate.
Self-dependent movements of the instrument in the stand
must be avoided. Please take the time to place the
instrument carefully.
6. DIMENSIONS
MAINTAIN, CLEAN
- Always carry out maintenance in unloaded condition
- Regularly check:
- a. proper condition of the components (defective
- a. parts must be replaced or repaired)
- b. Tight fit of all screw connections
- Pay attention to possible hazards during
- maintenance work like bumping, overturning,
- squeezing
- It is best to use a slightly damp cloth for
- cleaning and use non-abrasive cleaning agent
