AIRING THE MACHINE

· Switch OFF the machine.
· Pull the capsule inlet lever down (without a capsule)
· Push either of the cup size buttons.
· As soon as water starts pouring out, remove the water tank.
· Once the water stops pouring, the airing of the machine is complete.

DESCALING

· Carefully read the use and safety instructions on the descaling package.
· Be careful when handling the descaling solution near the machine as it could harm
the machine's surface.
· Do not use vinegar!

THE DESCALING ALARM

After 1200 uses (brewing coffee and water), the descaling alarm is triggered every time
the machine is switched on. When you turn the power switch on, the LED indicators of
the cup size buttons will be flashing at a frequency of 5x/second, stopping for 1 second,
and loops. The machine will then start preheating and can be used normally. The alarm
can only be reset when the user operates the descaling process.

THE DESCALING PROCESS

· Make sure that the water tank is filled with at least 0.5 litres of water.
· Make sure that the capsule inlet is empty.
· Empty the capsule container and the drip tray.
· Let water run through the machine (without a capsule).
· Add the descaling solution to the water tank.
· Place a receptacle underneath the nozzle.
· Press and hold both cup size buttons for 2 seconds.
· Let the descaling solution run through the machine for a second time.
· Fill the water tank with fresh water.
· Run 6-8 cups of water through to make sure the machine is free of any descaling
solution residue.
