INTENTION FOR USE
Thank you for purchasing this ChargeXpert mobile charger for electric vehicles. This charger is
intended for charging electric vehicles with a type 2 connection via a Schuko socket. This charger has
an adapter which is provided with charging status via LED indicators, as well as via the various
electronic security features.
This product is suitable for the use of battery-powered electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric
vehicles that are equipped with a type 2 connection.
Outlet
The mobile home charger must be connected to a Schuko socket. PLEASE NOTE that many sockets are
not made for long-term charging of 16A / 3.7 kW for, for example, charging a hybrid and/or electric
vehicle. Therefore, always check whether the cabling and components are made for this amount of
power. The consequences are often noticeable on the long term, which makes it extra dangerous. Cables
and components are regularly and for a long time exposed to (too) high amounts of current, which
quickly reduces the quality of the cables and components and this makes it a fire hazard.
Use of extension cable
Never use a 230V AC extension cable while using this device. Always connect this cable directly to a
mains power socket. It is advised to place the vehicle close to the mains socket. If an extension cable is
used, make sure that it is made for a 16A current.
