HOW TO USE THE CINDERELLA FREEDOM
1. Check the green light on the control panel. When illuminated, it indicates that a 12V power source is
connected and that the toilet is ready for use. If the toilet has gone to standby mode, you can wake it
up by opening and closing the lid once.
2. Lift the toilet lid and seat. A red light starts flashing. The ventilation fan starts automatically.
3. Place an original Cinderella bag in the bowl. Use a new bag on every visit.
4. Lower the seat, and the toilet is ready for use.
5. Use the toilet as you normally do. If little waste is produced, add a couple of cups of water to make
the bag sufficiently heavy to fall down into the chamber.
6. Close the toilet lid.
7. Push the 'start' button, the hatch opens and the bag with contents drops into the chamber. The
incineration process starts as soon as the lid is closed. A yellow light on the control panel indicates
that incineration is in progress. The toilet is now ready for the next user.
It is ready for use when the green light comes on.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR USERS OF CINDERELLA
1. Always remember to place a new bag in the toilet bowl before use.
2. The toilet lid must always be closed when the toilet is not being used. Incineration cannot start until
the lid has been closed.
3. After the bag with contents drops into the chamber, ignition is not attempted for 20 seconds, to allow
time for the airing out of the incineration chamber. The toilet will attempt ignition up to 3 times, with
20 seconds of airing between each attempt, before any error message is generated.
4. The incineration process may take from 45 minutes to as much as 3 hours (depending on the amount of
waste and number of visits). After completion of the incineration process, the yellow light on the control
panel will extinguish.
5. The fan will not stop running until the temperature inside the incineration chamber has fallen below
100°C. This will normally take about 1 - 1.5 hours after the completion of incineration (The yellow light
has extinguished).
6. When the toilet has cooled down and has not been used for a little while, it will enter standby mode,
and the green light will go out. The toilet will wake up anew when the lid is opened. In standby mode,
the toilet is only using 0.005 Amps. It may therefore remain connected even in the case of prolonged
absences.
7. It is possible to use the toilet while incineration is in progress or in the cooling phase as described in
points 3 and 4.
Never pour flammable liquids or materials into the toilet bowl and/or flush any such
WARNING!
substances into the chamber.
The yellow light will be lit during the entire incineration
process. Incineration time will vary according to the amount of
waste being processed.
