INSTALLATION
MOUNTING OF CARRIAGE
1.
Press together both parts of the carriage
so that they click in place.
2.
Fit the wheels on the carriage by putting
them on the axles. Put washers on the
axles and insert cotters in the holes in the
end. Bend the cotters to hold the wheels
in place.
3.
Lock the gas cylinder on the carriage with
the chain.
FIG. 2
PREPARATIONS
1.
Connect the hose to the regulator.
2.
Connect the other end of the hose to the
burner handle.
3.
Check the connections for leakage with
soapy water. Replace the gas hose after
5 years, or if leakage is suspected.
4.
Check that the product is extinguished
and cold. Turn the knob clockwise as far
as it will go.
5.
Connect the regulator to the gas cylinder.
USE
LIGHTING
1.
Point the nozzle down and away from
your body.
2.
Open the knob over the regulator half
way. Open the knob on the handle a little
so that a faint hissing noise is heard when
gas flows through the nozzle.
3.
Press the piezo lighter one or more times
until the spark lights the flame. Adjust the
pilot flame with the knob. If the gas does
not ignite this can be because the flow of
gas is too strong. In which case, reduce
the flow of gas with the knob.
4.
The burner is activated by pressing the
burner handle. The flame can be adjusted
with the knob.
5.
Releasing the burner handle returns the
burner to the pilot flame.
SWITCHING OFF
1.
Close the regulator on the gas cylinder.
2.
Wait until the flame goes out, which
shows that there is no gas in the hose and
then close the valve on the gas burner.
MAINTENANCE
Check the gas hose at least once a month,
when replacing the cylinder, before
putting the product away, and before
using the product again. Replace the gas
hose with a hose of the same quality and
length if it is damaged.
Check the gas system (gas hose, gas
regulator, pilot flame, nozzle, etc.) for
damage and leakage before use.
The entire system should be inspected by
qualified personnel at least once a year.
Keep the burner clean to avoid danger.
Do not use flammable or corrosive
detergent to clean the product.
Repairs must be carried out by an
authorised service centre.
STORAGE
Always fully close the gas valve after use
and after any interference.
Remove the gas regulator and gas hose.
WARNING!
Never store gas cylinders in a basement
or in rooms with inadequate ventilation.
Never store gas cylinders near the
product, except for the cylinder that is
connected to the product.
The storage of gas cylinders must
comply with local regulations.
