Implementation

The following prerequisites must be followed to prepare the TechniNet BS4 head station for use:
- Appropriate experience in constructing cable head stations and satellite reception equipment.
- Access to a professional digital measuring device with the following features:
• Level measurement in dBµV.
• Bit error rate (BER) measurement for QAM signals.
• Modulation error rate (MER) measurement for QAM signals.
• Spectrum analysis.
The head station should be mounted in rooms where the permitted ambient temperature
(0-45°C) can safely be maintained.
Please observe the safety instructions in section 1 at all times.
