5. Handling

5.1 Refilling of water tank
Unscrew lid slowly to release pressure. Refill tank with destilled water by using the
accessories. Fill the tank, until the water reaches the upper end of the sight glass
(approx. 1,4 liter). Fasten the lid slightly. The pressure inside the tank
increases.
5.2. Spray activation and adjustment
Activate spray by switching the lever into the ON position. Water amount can be
adjusted with the green button and air amount with the blue button.
5.3 Operation
Choose Spray OFF / ON, activate foot control to start the turbine and depending
on the switch position the water spray starts also.
5.4 Inserting the tool
Place the tool inside the borehole. Push the turbine head inside the inserting tool
until it snaps in audibly.
5.5 Extracting the tool
Hold the middle part of the turbine with one hand and push the tail forwards until
the stop. The tool can be taken out of the chuck.
5.6 Pressure regulator with valve
The Turbine is equipped with an automatic ventilation system. We recommend to
release the pressure in the tank once in a week to activate the ventilation.
6. Terms of warranty
Schick Dental grants the operator a guarantee covering all functional defects, material
or production faults. The device is covered by this warranty for 12 months from the
date of invoice.
In the case of justified claims, Schick Dental or it´s authorised representative will fulfill
the company´s obligations under this warranty by repairing or replacing the product
free of charge.
Any other claims in particular in the form of damages and interest, are excluded.
Schick Dental shall not be held responsible for damage or injury and their consequences
resulting from:
- excessive wear and tear
- improper handling
- non-observance of the
instructions for installation,
operation and maintenance
- unusual chemical, electrical or
electrolytic influences.
- poor connections, whether of the air,
water or electricity supply
