Maintenance/Repair
Cleaning and care:
Improper handling of the tent can cause damage to the tent.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, brushes with metal or nylon bristles or sharp or metallic
cleaning objects such as knives, hard spatulas or similar. These can damage the surface.
Never wash the tent in the washing machine. You will destroy it.
Never have the tent dry cleaned.
Only use clear water or commercially available tent cleaning agent for cleaning.
Allow the tent to dry before storing it in the pack sack.
Maintenance and repair:
Re-impregnation: Decreasing waterproofness of the seams.
Waterproof the outer tent regularly or after longer storage with commercially available waterpro-
ofing spray for polyester.
Elimination of minor leaks: Holes and tears in the outer or inner tent.
Contact the manufacturer's service address.
Maintenance of zips: Sluggish zips.
Spray sluggish zips with silicone or glycerine to maintain suppleness.
Repair of broken poles: Damaged or broken fibreglass poles. Contact the manufacturer's
service address.
