Observe the correct polarity when connecting the signal inputs (S0 cables).

Lay the S0 cables at least 100 mm away from power supply cables.

Use shielded S0 cables when inductive sources are present, e.g. high-voltage lines, radio

transmitters, microwave devices.
The polarity of the outputs is unimportant.

5.2.1 Preparing the cable openings
The cables can be fed through openings at the bottom of the casing. The openings are pre-punched
and must be prepared as required before installation.
Prepare the cable openings at the bottom of the casing as follows:
Cut open the required openings ⑧ (Fig. 1, p. 33) using a suitable knife.

Connecting the cables

All cables are voltage-free.

The cable openings have been prepared.
Observe the following points when connecting the cables:
Assign the cable conductors to the connection terminals according to the table in

Ä 2.3, p. 33 .
Mains grid : First connect PE, then N and L.

Load : First connect PE, then the relay contact.

Install the strain relief using the high-strength cable glands supplied. Ensure that the
n
cable glands are properly tightened.
