1 Sicherheit
Die vorliegende Ergänzung zur Betriebsanleitung
SB-500 beschränkt sich auf die Besonderheiten des
Einsatzes dieser Verdichter in explosionsgefährdeten
Bereichen (Verdichter in Ex-Schutz-Sonderausführung).
Darüber hinaus gilt auch die Betriebsanleitung
SB-500.
Der Einsatz dieser Verdichter macht auch einen Ölabscheider
in der Anlage erforderlich. Deshalb müssen ebenso die ent-
sprechenden BITZER-Betriebsanleitungen DB-300 und
DB-309 beachtet werden.
Diese Kältemittel-Verdichter sind zum Einbau in Maschinen
entsprechend der EG-Maschinenrichtlinie 2006/42/EG
vorgesehen, die in Bereichen aufgestellt werden, die der EG-
Explosionsschutzrichtlinie 94/9/EG unterliegen (ATEX 100a).
Sie dürfen nur in Betrieb genommen werden, wenn sie gemäß
der Standard-Betriebsanleitung SB-500, dieser Ergänzung
und den Anleitungen für Ölabscheider DB-300 und DB-309
eingebaut worden sind und als Ganzes mit den entsprechen-
den gesetzlichen Vorschriften übereinstimmen (anzuwenden-
de Normen: siehe Hersteller- und Konformitätserklärung).*

1 Safety
This supplement to the operating instructions SB-500 is
limited to the special features of these compressors
concerning the application in potentially explosive
areas (special explosion-proof compressor design). Pay
also attention to the operating instructions SB-500.
The application of these compressors requires an oil separa-
tor in the plant. Therefore the respective BITZER operating
instructions DB-300 and DB-309 have to be considered as
well.
According to the EC Machines Directive 2006/42/EG, these
compressors are designed for the installation in machines
which are situated in areas that are subject to the EC
Explosion-proof Directive 94/9/EC (ATEX 100a).
They may be put to service only if they have been installed
according to the standard operating instructions SB-500, this
supplement and the operating instructions for oil separators
DB-300 and DB-309, and as a whole agree with the corre-
sponding provisions of legislation (standards to apply: refer
to Declaration of Conformity).*
