Curing processes are always associated with a certain development of odours. Please air
the kitchen well.
After every use
Clean the grill plate straight after every grilling process. Ensure that you always leave the
grill plate to cool down completely before it is cleaned. All that you need to clean it is hot
water, some washing up liquid and a soft brush. Incrustations may be loosened by water
acting on it overnight. Fixed incrustations can be removed in an instant by boiling with
some washing soda.
Do not leave any food lying around on the grill plate. Remove it after every grilling/frying
process. Do not allow any grilling/frying residues to dry onto it.
Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents, scouring agents, steel wool or similar cleaning
implements. These may scratch the surface or, in the worst case, damage it.
