Function Setup

(Note: The barcode marked by "*"means default setting of Inateck BCST-71.)
Users must read setup barcodes in order to change the default settings in Inateck BCST-71
Barcode Scanner.

Status indication

Buzzer Indication
Beeping
One short high note（100ms）
One short high note（20ms）
One long high note（400ms）
Two short notes（tone from low to high）
Two short beeps (tone from high to low)
Two or more long high tones（800ms）
Three-chord sound（from low to high）
Three-chord sound（from high to low）
Two short tones（the same tone）

LED Indication

Indicator color
Green LED flashes once (LED2)
Blue LED flashes once (LED2)
Blue LED stays on (LED2)
Yellow LED blinks
(light/shade ratio0.5s : 0.5s） (LED1)
Red LED stays on (LED1)
Green LED flashes（LED2）
Blue LED flashes（LED2）
Scan"Enter setup"barcode;
Change scanner setting by
scanning certain function
setup barcode;
Scan "Exit with save" barcode
to finish the setup.
Meaning
Read barcode successfully
Data upload from scanner to Computer
Wrong Setup （on setup status, blue LED stays on）
Invalid scanning due to full buffer (Scanned barcode not saved.)
Pairing Failure (Occurs only during the pairing process)
Correct Setup
The connection between Inateck BCST-71 and computer is disrupted.
USB being set up（in Wired Mode）
Enter setup（Blue LED is on）
Exit setup（Blue LED is off）
Bluetooth connected successfully
Bluetooth connection disrupted
Meaning
Barcode successfully read and uploaded to computer
Barcode successfully read and saved in buffer, but not uploaded to computer
Inateck BCST-71 scanner on setup status
Low battery
Inateck BCST-71 scanner in charge (Red LED off when battery is full)
The Bluetooth has been recognized but not connected, please delete the pairing
records on the phone or the computer and pair again.
The Bluetooth is in pairing status and the barcode scanner can be found on phones
and computers
