Assembly and preparation for use of the Z-Star

1. Place the Base (7) onto the edge of a table, or a similarly stable edge, onto which you would like
to attach the juicer.
2. Slide the Clamp assembly (11) into the oblong groove on the bottom of the Base (7) and hook
the tooth of the Clamp assembly (11) into the opening.
3. To fasten the base, turn the winged screw on the Clamp assembly (11) counter-clockwise until it
is very tight.
(When assembling for the first time, you can skip steps 4 and 5.1, since these individual parts are
already put together.)
4. Place the Auger (3) into the Auger Housing (4) and slide the hexagonal shaft of the Auger
through the small opening until the Auger (3) reaches the end of the Auger Housing (4). Ensure
that you find the position where the Auger Housing (4) or the hexagonal shaft of the Auger (3)
can be inserted as far as it can go. go. Lock it into place by tightly turning the green Auger Hou-
sing Retaining Ring (6) counter-clockwise.
5. Depending on desired use, select Juicing screen (2) or Homogenising screen (9).
5.1 The Juicing screen (2) is suitable for juicing fruit, vegetables, green leaves, grasses, and
herbs. Slide the juicing screen through the front opening of the Auger housing (4) onto the Auger
(3). Place the Screen locking cap (1) on it and lock it by turning it one rotation counter-clockwise.
Now place the Juicing nozzle (14) onto the Screen locking cap (1) and tighten this by slightly tur-
ning it counter-clockwise.
5.2 The Homogenising screen (9) is suitable for making ice cream, sorbet, dried fruit confec-
tionery, and pasta dough, as well as for mashing fruit and vegetables. You find delicious ideas in
chapter „recipes".
a) Slide the Homogenising screen (9) through the front opening of the Auger housing (4) onto
the Auger (3). Place the Screen locking cap (1) on it and lock it by turning it one rotation coun-
ter-clockwise.
b) Place the Homogenising nozzle (15) (or one of the pasta nozzles
(14c+d)) onto the Screen locking cap (1) and fasten it likewise by
slightly turning it counterclockwise.
6. Place the Funnel (5) onto the Auger Housing (4).
7. Attach the Handle Assembly (8) onto the hexagonal shaft on the Base (7).
8. Position the Juice container under the Juice Outlet at the bottom of
the Auger housing (4) and a bowl, or the like, under the Juicing nozzle
(14) (see illustration 1).
