4.1| IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES ON
POWER SOCKET AND CORD
The appliance should be only connected to

properly installed earthed wall sockets. Keep
the power cord and plug dry at all times.
Never pull the mains plug out of the socket
•
by the power cord or with wet hands.
Attach the power cord so that no one can trip
•
over it and pull it out of the socket.
Protect the power cord from damage. Do not
•
pull or clamp the connection cable over sharp
edges. Do not leave it dangling. Protect it
from heat and oil.
The power cord must not come into contact

with the hot surface of the appliance.
Do not carry the device by the power cord.

Never touch the hot pot (other than the han-

dles) or other hot parts of the appliance when
it is in operation. Always hold the hot pot by
the handles to avoid the risk of scalding.
Do not move the appliance if the hot pot is

heated up and/or the steamer insert contains
hot liquid or food.
Risk of scalding from hot steam. Do not move

the appliance or pull on the power cord
during operation.
The heating element surface is subject to

residual heat after use.
