the appliance. Standard user cleaning and maintenance must not
be carried out by children unless they are at least 8 years old and
supervised. Children under 8 years of age must stay away from
the appliance and its power supply.
Make sure that the kettle is placed on a flat surface so that it cannot
tip over and cause injury during boiling. Do not touch the outer
casing of the kettle or the lid during operation and even after
boiling; the outer surfaces are hot. Do not use the appliance near
objects that can be damaged by steam.
Do not immerse in water! - Do not immerse in water!
DANGEROUS for children: Children must not play with packaging
material. Do not let children play with plastic bags. Choking hazard.
WARNING
1. When filling the kettle, use only cold water.
2. The water level must be between the MAX. and MIN. levels!
If the kettle is overfilled hot water could splash out.
3. Switch off the kettle before removing it from the base.
4. Always make sure the lid is closed securely.
5. The base and outside of the kettle must not be wet.
6. Always use the kettle only with the base supplied.
7. Do not turn the kettle on if it is empty.
The kettle must not be used to heat liquids other than water! Never
put tea bags, loose tea or any other ingredients for drinks in the
kettle!
