C. Maintenance
1. There should always be so
much salt in the tank that
you cannot see the water.
The brine tank, however,
has to be emptied and clea-­
ned once or twice a year
(dependent on the salt qua-­
lity).
2. It is important that you do
not drop salt into the re-­
servoir with the brine valve
during salt re lling. A lways
see to it that the cover is
intact.
3. ALWAYS USE SALT
TABLETS.
4. The valves of the in-­ and
outlet sides must be open. The bypass valve must be closed (if tted).
5. At regular intervals you must draw a sample of the water in order to check
that the lter supplies soft water. If the soft water is used as pre-­treatment
ahead of the RO system, the water must be clecked daily.
